The three-rail sole features two outer rails and
a diamond-shaped inner rail to lift the ball out
of nasty lies. The inner rail, on the center rear of
the sole, acts like a rudder to deflect the turf and
square the face at impact—if the face is open, the
rail steers it into a more closed position, and vice
versa. The outer rails distribute mass to the club’s
perimeter to improve stability on off-center hits.

low center of gravity (CG) and higher launch.
The firm’s proprietary face insert has three
thicknesses to spread the sweet spot (hot zone)
over a wider area and improve output on mishits.
Thanks to an extra-wide sole, the head sits
flush with the ground, so proper face alignment
is a snap. The DXi is available in 13° (3+), 15° or
18° lofts.
